The State Service of Ukraine on Drugs and Drug Control has banned a series of Ambroxol tablets produced by the Ukrainian pharmaceutical company Lekhim-Kharkiv.

According to the press service, the cough drug (series 020315, Ambroxol, tablets 0.03 № 20) is unregistered in Ukraine and manufactured for the market of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It is also noted that along with Ambroxol for the same reason, such popular drugs as the same antihistamine Dexamethasone (injection for 4mg / ml of 1 ml of No. 5 series 030315 and 210714) and the antibiotic "Ceftriaxone" ( powder for injection of the series 750814/4040450, 760814/4040459 and 740814/4040449) In this regard, the State Forest Service obliged all subjects of economic activity to check the availability of prohibited series of these preparations and, in the event of detection, to take measures for their removal from circulation and further disposal or destruction.
