From 10 to 15 cm of snow fell in different parts of the Sverdlovsk region on Tuesday, April 24. The Ministry of Transport and the Road Administration had to mobilize all the forces of communal equipment to combat the consequences of snow on the roads.

According to the Department of Information Policy of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, 268 road cars operate on the roads of the region - 174 combined cars, 41 cars with a dump, 36 motor graders and 14 tractors. The greatest concentration of technology was noted in the central and southern parts of the region - 113. In the north there are 64 units of equipment, in the east - 56, and on the west - 35 vehicles.

The Minister of Transport of the region Vasily Starkov urged the road services to take comprehensive measures for the timely clearing of the trails, to ensure trouble-free and uninterrupted traffic. Nevertheless, the ministry recommends that drivers do not travel without special need on the trails during the snow. Tomorrow, according to forecasts of weather forecasters, the precipitation will stop and the snow will melt.
