At the 71st year of his life the former player and coach of the French national football team Henri Michel.

According to the French radio station RFI, the causes of death are not reported.

Michel was in favor of the French "Nantes" (1966-1982), in which he became the champion of the country three times and reached the semifinals of the Cup Winners' Cup. Also on his account 58 matches in the national team of France.

In 1984, as a coach of the youth team in France, he won the Olympic Games. From 1984 to 1988 he worked as head coach of the French national team. He also coached Cameroon, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Cote d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Kenya.
