Sredneuralskuyu poultry factory was fined 552 thousand 265 rubles for the discharge of sewage into the mole Molebskoye. This was reported in the press service of the Sverdlovsk Regional Court.

Laboratory studies have shown that the phosphate content exceeds the norms by almost several times, ammonium nitrogen - by 4.8 times. Engineer of the poultry factory for environmental protection explained that the wastewater does not comply with the norms due to the fact that the company does not have treatment facilities.

The Upper Pyshmini city court forbade the poultry farm to discharge sewage, including drainage to the Molebskoye swamp until it is properly cleaned. LLC "Poultry farm Sredneuralskaya" is obliged to pay a fee to the regional budget for the negative impact on the environment for 2016 in the amount of 552 thousand 265 rubles 83 kopecks.

The enterprise appealed the decision to a higher authority.

The defendant's representative explained that the poultry farm was taking measures to clean the sewage, but it would take several years to build the treatment plant. Sverdlovsk Regional Court upheld the decision.

As previously wrote JustMedia. ru, the public movement "OCA" collected the signatures of the residents of Verkhnyaya Pyshma against the illegal placement of chicken manure on agricultural lands. The activists sent an appeal to the environmental and supervisory authorities asking them to check the Sredneuralskaya poultry farm.
