Subbotniks will be held in the Sverdlovsk Region from April 1 to 30. The decree on this was signed by the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev.

Until then, explained in the regional Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, local authorities need to organize arrangements for the removal of accumulated garbage to solid municipal waste disposal sites, to develop schedules for carrying out subbotniks for organizations and residents, and to identify those responsible for the timeliness and quality of work performance.

"Holding subbotniks has long become an integral part of our life, a tradition on which not a single generation of Russians has been brought up, a tradition that unites us all with one goal - to make our settlements clean, well-groomed and cozy. This is especially important today, when the region started implementing a large-scale program to create a comfortable urban environment. A subbotnik is a good reason to start this big business from the very smallest point: to establish cleanliness not only in the streets and squares of cities, but also in their yards and adjacent territories, "noted Nikolai Smirnov, the head of the regional ministry of housing and communal services.
