Most seasonal workers from Ukraine - 74% of people - come to Poland for a short time. Only 11% want to stay. This is stated in the study of the company Personnel Service, reports LIGA with reference to Prostir. pl.

According to the research, 74% of Ukrainians do not want to stay in Poland for a long period. The reason - it is difficult to get access to real estate, education and social assistance. 15% of respondents could not answer the question.

Researchers asked workers from Ukraine why they chose Poland as a country of labor emigration. 53% of respondents named geographical proximity, 44% - level of earnings, 34% - a small language barrier.

Three out of four employees from Ukraine have visited Poland more than once during the past five years, 34% - two or three times. 62% of respondents said they intend to return to Poland in the near future.

The study was conducted among labor migrants from Ukraine who worked in Poland during the last 5 years. In total, 400 respondents were interviewed - inhabitants of Lviv, Lutsk, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian citizens who have Polish roots and wish to obtain a residence permit in Poland began to ask about their attitude to the leader of Ukrainian nationalists Stepan Bandera and UPA. In the event that the applicant hesitates or does not clearly express herself on the issues of history, the application is rejected.

According to some Ukrainian students who study in the cities of Poland, after the adoption of the "law on banderism" the attitude towards them has deteriorated significantly. "Several people have been beaten by nationalists, especially clinging to guys, in Ukrainian we try not to talk on the street at all".
