Beeline subscribers prefer France for romantic trips on March 8

Beeline analyzed the activity of Russians in the February and March holidays: Beeline subscribers traveled more and communicated on International Women's Day than on Defender of the Fatherland Day.

The number of subscribers in international roaming in the period from 5 to 11 March 2018 compared with 19 to 25 February 2018 grew by 8%, while in Russia - by 1.3%, it follows from the data of internal analytics.

In foreign trips to the March holidays, the consumption of Internet traffic grew by 13% compared to February, and the number of sent SMS - by 11%.

Compared to the week without holidays (February 26 - March 4, 2018), during the festive week from March 5 to 11, 2018, the international roaming of Internet traffic grew by almost 1.5 times, sms by 31%, and voice traffic by 3%.

The list of the most popular destinations for international travel includes: Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Germany, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Georgia, Turkey. But if from February, 19 till February, 25, 2018 in the top 10 directions on popularity at subscribers "Beeline" has got Spain, on holidays on the occasion of the International women's day it was replaced by France.



Among the Russian cities and regions, most often Beeline subscribers visited Moscow, Vladimir, Krasnodar Territory, Stavropol Territory, Tula, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Kazan, Tver and Kaluga in February and March holidays.

This year Beeline subscribers actively congratulated women on the holiday: on March 8, 2018, there were 13% more calls than on Defender's Day, and 6% more than usual weekday. In addition, on March 8, subscribers sent 1.5 times more SMS than February 23 and 2 times more than on a regular day.
