The charitable foundation "Right to the Zahist" presented the results of a survey conducted in February on five CPVVs in Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
Representatives of the BF "Right to the Zahist" interviewed 1,668 people who crossed the line of contact: 40.4% went to uncontrolled territories, 59.6% - back.
According to the results of the survey, the main problem remains long queues, the fund says. At the checkpoint "Major" 68.2% of respondents complained about them, on "Luganskaya Stanitsa" - 41.5%. The majority of the respondents at Novotroitskoye (47%) said that the pedestrian zone is in poor condition, and transport (38%) is considered the main problem at Marinka.. At the "Gnutovoy" 36.3% were unhappy that it took a long time to walk.
"Respondents who complained about the waiting conditions, most often noted the lack of shelter from the weather," - added to the fund.
In controlled areas, most often went to solve issues with documents (40.5%) and withdraw cash (39.5%). In 35.4% of cases, respondents sought to avoid termination of social benefits (in the absence of more than 60 days).
On uncontrolled territories, mostly went to visit relatives (63.8%) and check the property (26%).

6% of the respondents noted that at least once they moved because of a military conflict. Of these, 44.8% returned home. Among the reasons for the return, the most commonly mentioned was the stabilization of the situation (48.7%), the desire to live at home (41%) and the high cost of rent (18.8%).
The survey is part of the project "Advocacy, Protection and Legal Assistance to Internally Displaced Persons", which is conducted by the Law Foundation on Zahist, with the support of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
