In the Sverdlovsk region for the weekend, traffic police caught 130 drunken drivers. About 80 more are detained for driving a car without rights.

"Twelve drivers were detained drunk while driving again, another 23 drivers refused to undergo an examination, but they had signs of intoxication. These drivers are expected to face heavy fines, deprivation of the right to manage, as well as criminal liability, "the department for propaganda of the UGIBDD of the GU MVD of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region.

In the coming holidays, the State Traffic Inspection will continue carrying out measures to identify gross violations of traffic rules, which are the causes of serious accidents.

In order to exclude the facts of drunken driving, raid events and continuous checks of transport will take place in different cities of the Sverdlovsk region, including in remote areas.
