The North-Western Office of Roskomnadzor asked the publication "Agency for Business News" to delete the photo with the inscription "Against Putin", which on the ice of the frozen Fontanka River in St. Petersburg was written by supporters of the presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak. Similar demands were sent to other media, according to the website of the newspaper.

The agency reported that the director general of the newspaper was called by the employee of the North-Western department of Roskomnadzor. The representative of the department noted that the inscription "Against Putin" can be regarded as pre-election campaign, which violates federal law No. 19 on elections.

An employee of Roskomnadzor added that the Central Election Commission can only file claims to the publication, but it will still be fined by the regulator.
