Sverdlovsk region will take part in the largest environmental action on the planet - "Earth Hour". On March 24, it is planned to extinguish the illumination of iconic buildings in order to draw attention to the careful and responsible attitude to nature and resources, the Governor's Information Policy Department.

"The Sverdlovsk region traditionally participates in this action, lighting is extinguished on the buildings of the government, the legislative assembly, the city administration, at the Sevastyanov House, business centers. We invite you this year on March 24 from 20. 30 to 21. 30 to disable the external illumination of large architectural and engineering structures as a sign of indifference to the future of the planet, "said the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Sverdlovsk Region Alexei Kuznetsov.

The head of the Ministry of Natural Resources urged Sverdlov residents to join the rally and for one hour to turn off electrical appliances.
