The protest rally is timed to the meeting of Asbest's Duma on February 28, at which the deputies plan to apply to Rospotrebnadzor and Rosprirodnadzor with a complaint about air pollution by this plant. At the pickets, the residents went out in gas masks and held placards bearing inscriptions: "FORES, Enough We To Harass" and "Shmotiev, put on Electrofilters at FORES".

MP from the Communist Party Natalia Krylova is sure that the representatives of the factory are cunning, claiming that their company has installed the most up-to-date filters.

"The most modern and effective are electrostatic precipitators, which are absent at FORES. The cost of one such filter is 20 million rubles.

At the moment, the factory has simple, bag filters, which are much less effective. Their cost is 20 times less - about a million, "- she wrote on her personal Facebook page.

Deputies of the Duma from the Communist Party are also against the "National Antimony Company" (NSC), which plans to build a plant in Asbestos. In this case, trials are underway now. To release the project, the "daughter" of the NSC (Gross LLC) must challenge the new land use and development rules adopted by the City Duma.
