However, the prosecutor in the case Valentin Musiyaka said that on Tuesday the court will consider the application of the SAP for the removal of Trukhanov from the post of mayor.

However, according to the prosecutor, if the court supports the petition of prosecutors, Trukhanov's lawyers will appeal against this decision.

At the same time, the prosecutor stressed that the court had in fact ascertained that, being in his position, Trukhanov could influence witnesses.

This is the final decision on the measure of restraint, but tomorrow there will be an examination of the dismissal, - explained the prosecutor, adding that the reasonableness of the decision was not questioned.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, February 15, 2018 Solomensky District Court of Kiev elected for Trukhanov a preventive measure in the form of personal bail.

The city's head was bailed by MP Dmitry Golubov. At the same time, the prosecutor's office asked the court to elect for Trukhanov a preventive measure in the form of arrest with an alternative to making a pledge of UAH 50 million.
