In the period from February 19 to February 25, influenza and acute respiratory viral infections in Kharkov, 8,754 people, including 6,377 children under 17.

In comparison with the previous week there is a slight increase in the incidence, among children the incidence has decreased. The indicators below the epidemic threshold are 35.7%.

In the region, 14233 people fell ill, 10482 of them - children under the age of 17. Compared with the previous week, there was an increase in the number of cases of 765 people. The incidence increased both among children and adults.

In the region average, the indicators are below the epidemic threshold by 43.2%. The incidence rate is characterized as low.

There is a high level of intensity of the epidural process in the territory of the Borovsk region (the level of the epidemic threshold is exceeded by 66.0%) and in g. Raisins (by 34.3%). Also, the level of the epidemic threshold is exceeded in g. Pervomaisky (14.4%) and Izyum rayon (5.7%), which indicates the average intensity of influenza and SARS in these areas.

The highest figure in the region was registered in Izum - 1634.03 per 100 thousand of population, the lowest in Zolochiv district - 98.76 per 100 thousand of population.

According to the data of virological monitoring, 234 patients with suspected influenza and SARS were diagnosed with positive results in 99 people (42.3%). In 15 people, a type B influenza virus (15.2%) was detected. 44.4% of patients had parainfluenza virus, 20.2% had a PC virus, and 20.2% had an adenovirus.
