The State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety plans to launch in the year of the electronic cabinet of the carrier, introduce DVRs for inspectors and a new system for monitoring the safety of transport.
On such innovations in the work the time of the public report was told by the head of the department Mikhail Nonyak, the public organization "Stop corruption".
"The development of the concept of the electronic cabinet of the carrier, the preparation and holding of a tender and the purchase of 78 mobile complexes, the launch of a clear and effective system of safety control measures, the pilot model for the use of DVRs in inspectors' work are just a few defining milestones in the 2017, "he said.
According to the head of the service, underfunding is not the biggest challenge for Ukrtrans-security.
Nonyak recalled that in 2017 Ukrtransbezopasnost purchased 78 new mobile complexes in order to significantly improve the effectiveness of state supervision (control) measures,.
"In fact, we have the opportunity to implement them around the clock, thus building a reliable barrier for unscrupulous carriers. But this will be possible only if there is sufficient staffing. For the round-the-clock operation of one such complex, 8 inspectors are needed, "he said..
The official noted that in connection with this the Service appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers with the justification of the need to increase the maximum staff strength of Ukrtransbezopasnosti by 1099 people (it is a matter of increasing the number of inspectors only).
"The creation of the One-Stop Shop for Administrative Services, the introduction of the electronic cabinet of the carrier, the creation of online registries as part of an effective system of control measures and the completion of new mobile laboratories are only a small list of the goals that the Service sets for itself in 2018, Added the head of the department.
In turn, the activists of "Stop Corruption" reminded that they had repeatedly cooperated with the service during raids among large vehicles.
"Together fixed the excess of the limits for the carrying capacity. After such inspections, violating drivers received fines, and, in particular, points for monitoring violations among large vehicles began actively working on the section of the Zhitomir highway, "the organization reported..
