Six people died of measles complications. At the same time, another death was confirmed - a five-month-old child died in the Odessa region.

This was announced on Tuesday, February 20 at the briefing by the Deputy General Director of the Center for Public Health, Ministry of Health Viktor Lyashko. He also noted that the leader in morbidity is the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 1,141 cases of measles.

On the second place Odessa, on the third Transcarpathian and on the fourth Chernivtsi region.

However, Lyashko noted that the remainder of the measles, rubella and mumps vaccines according to operative data is 228 thousand doses.
