As reported on the official website of the Mariupol City Council, such a decision was made to prevent the spread of the incidence of ARVI and influenza. The educational process in grades 1-11 of all institutions of general secondary education and out-of-school education will be suspended until the epidemiological situation normalizes, - explained in the city council.

At the same time, in a number of cities in Ukraine, quarantine in schools has been extended from today.

So, according to the Chernivtsi City Council, epidemiologists recommended prolonging quarantine in all institutions of general secondary education by February 23 inclusive. The incidence of acute respiratory viral infection among schoolchildren in Chernivtsi is about 19.5%.

In the city of Sumy, seven schools were closed for quarantine: No. 18, 26, 27, 29, a classical gymnasium and the first gymnasium, as well as four classes in the 10th school.

There were 2 541 cases registered in the city today, of which 67.7% are children.

In schools Rovno because of the incidence of children, the quarantine was extended until February 22. In addition, Rivne has extended the quarantine in extracurricular institutions of education. At the moment, there are 167 schools in the Rivne region in quarantine.
