From today's Monday, February 19, for a week in the city, quarantine was announced in connection with the increase in the number of cases of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections. As explained by the mayor of the city Ruslan Marcinkiv, the corresponding city authorities took, given the rapid growth in the number of diseases among children and adolescents in the city's schools.
Previously, on February 26, children will return to their desks, - wrote the mayor on his page in the social network.
At the same time, according to his data, almost four thousand patients were registered in Ivano-Frankivsk last week, 80% of them are children under 18 years old.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in Uzhgorod, the incidence of influenza and ARVI is still elevated.
At the same time, as a result of temporary quarantine, the incidence of influenza in the region has fallen by 30 percent.
