It is reported that as a result of temporary quarantine, the incidence of flu and colds in the region fell by 30 percent. Attendance in Uzhhorod schools in the last three days has fallen by 18 percent, and as of February 16 this figure has reached 23 percent.
In this regard, at a meeting of the anti-epidemic commission in the Uzhgorod city council, it was decided to send students on vacation on Monday, February 19.
To date, ARVI has fallen ill 258 thousand Ukrainians, more than 70 percent of them are children under 16 years old. Recall that in Kiev and Kiev region, the health committe also announced a weekly quarantine, which was then extended for another week.
