Three main events of 2017 according to your version: The main challenge for me (and as a result - the main achievement) was the introduction of certain adjustments to the strategy of the Ukrainian office Lenovo and, more importantly, the values ??and way of thinking of my team. This involved rebuilding the majority of internal and external processes to increase the satisfaction of our customers (consumers, distributors, retailers) and now we can state the fact that we have succeeded.

In 2017, we successfully launched direct deliveries of Lenovo equipment to Ukraine. Now all laptops, tablets, servers and other products are delivered directly from the factory to the ports and airports of our country. This allows Ukrainian users to receive new products faster, and for the state the supply chain of the goods has become as transparent as possible.

As a result of December 2017, 30.8% of all notebooks sold and 28.7% of all sold tablets in Ukraine are Lenovo devices (according to analytical data of GFK companies). In view of certain agreements, I can not be told what place among all brands we occupy with such shares, but it is easy to calculate to everyone given that there are six main players in laptops and seven in tablets on the market.

Of the events that are significant in the IT sphere, I would single out a jubilee - a quarter of a century of the legendary notebook brand for ThinkPad business and presentation of the first VR-devices available to the mass consumer.

Your "Formula for success": Completely devote to the process, which is now involved. Concentration of efforts is very important for achieving the result. Any action (work, hobby, time with the family) is much more effective if at that moment both your thoughts and your actions are concentrated on the goal and the current process. Do only what you genuinely believe in. And do not give up, even if everyone around is saying that "this is impossible".

What did you dream of becoming in your childhood? : Years to 9 - Astronaut. But how could it be otherwise? In a more conscious age, I dreamed of becoming a scientist-physicist or chemist. These two sciences (and even mathematics) tore my heart and often forced me to make a difficult choice (for example, olympiads in these subjects were often held at one time).

Do you have a dream that has not materialized yet? : I want to participate in the official world record in one of the disciplines of parachuting (large wingsuit formation). I expect that the attempt to establish such a record will be in 2019 - there is time to prepare mentally and physically.

What miracle of the world would you like to transfer to your hometown? What would it symbolize? : Alexandrian lighthouse. The light of the lighthouse of Alexandria at night and the smoke from it during the day were a guide for ships, an instrument for finding the right way. Established in the city, it would symbolize a reference point for other cities (and maybe for other countries) in matters of innovation and sustainable development. But, of course, one miracle of the world for this little - there is still much to do.

If you opened a new planet, how would you name it? : I would call it "Sarchu" (Sarchu). In honor of a small settlement in the Himalayas at an altitude of 4300 m. There is the most beautiful night sky that I personally saw in my life. Still there do not fly airplanes, and trains do not go, and in winter time they cover even a mountain road. If you do not call it a planet, how else do people know that there is such a beautiful place on earth.

Imagine that the President of America came to visit you with a request to show Ukraine. Where would you invite him to the tour? : I find it difficult to find the right place for this. But I am sure that Ukraine's main value is not the city, not the museum, not the square. The main price and landmark of Ukraine are people. People who change their habitual life around them, help the state change for the better. And they do all this not because of external factors, but in spite of them. I would invite Mr. President to the office of a young Ukrainian IT company, in which the best minds work for the benefit of the whole world; I would invite you to visit a modern agricultural enterprise where the fields are flown by unmanned vehicles, and the productivity is predicted by the computer. I am sure that such meetings would show the President of America the best sides of our country and society.

What do you consider your main achievement in life, and what is the biggest mistake? : When I was 26, I believed that the appearance is determined by solidity and professionalism. I even actively tried to gain weight (unfortunately, very successfully) in order to match the format of the head of purchasing department of a large company. As you know, this was a mistake.

I sincerely hope that the main achievement for me is yet to come. But for the time being, the achievement is the fact that I was able to maintain my basic principles and carry them through many of the trials that met in my way.
