Nevyansk City Prosecutor's Office organized a check on the media report on the organization of bidding by the administration of the Nevyanskiy city district on the purchase of an expensive foreign car.

"During supervisory activities it was established that on February 12, 2018 on the official website of zakupki. gov. ru posted a notice on the conduct of an electronic auction to supply a car with the initial (maximum) price of the contract of about 1.5 million rubles, "- said the prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region.

In the description of the object of procurement, the requirements for the technical characteristics of the car are specified, which presumably in their totality correspond to only one brand and model of the car - Toyota Camry.

Currently, the Nevyansk City Prosecutor's Office is conducting an audit, which will result in an assessment of compliance with the requirements of the law on the contract system in the procurement of goods for municipal needs.
