Google will introduce new rules for issuing photos in the "Search by images" section. The new rules are designed to complicate the theft of images on the Internet and should prevent copyright infringement, writes PetaPixel.

In particular, when you search for images through Google, the notification of who exactly is the author or owner of the photo will become much more noticeable. Now this information, although indicated, but typed in small print - so that it is quite difficult to see it.

In addition, the button "Full size", which now allows you to view a particular image in high resolution, and then download, will be removed.

These innovations are the result of joint collaboration between Google and Getty Images. Earlier, the photo agency filed numerous complaints against Google and accused that the company's policy promotes piracy. Now that Google has agreed to change the rules for the issuance of photos, Getty Images withdrew all claims.
