There is an interesting situation when the number of Ukrainians who visit the RF practically does not drastically decrease, but the number of Russians wishing to visit our state has fallen by almost half. So, in 2017, Russia was visited for the purpose of a business trip - 28,177 people, a tourist trip - 1,257 people and with a private trip - 4,346,989 people.

For the same year, the statistics of crossing the border by Russians:.

- official, business, diplomatic - 7,064 people;.

- tourism - 4 830 people;.

- private - 1 413 328 people;.

- study - 3,474 people;.

- Employment - 2,152 people;.

- immigration (permanent residence) - 2 776;.

- cultural and sports exchange, religious, other - 31 140.

In the recently published Gosstat ranking of the countries most visited by Ukrainians, Poland and Hungary also rank among the top three leaders.

As reported in the "Ur-Inform", only the previous year, the state border of Ukraine officially crossed over 12 million citizens of other countries. Among them, most of all in Ukraine traveled citizens of Moldova, Belarus and Russia.
