According to the first deputy head of the National Police, Vyacheslav Abroskin, the activities of criminal gangs and gangs have only intensified over the past four years. Only in 2017 80 criminal proceedings were instituted.
The National Police succeeded in liquidating the activities of 16 criminal groups with inter-regional ties, nine ethnic-based groups and two groups with transnational links. The total number of crimes committed by bandits totals 860 incidents - robberies, murders, extortion, kidnapping, drug and people trafficking.
Takde was captured 83 organizers of bandit groups, including so-called "thieves in law".
