The corresponding statement was made by the deputy head of the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine, Laura Bill.

According to her, UNICEF actively cooperates with producers of measles vaccines to ensure the receipt of the next installment of Ukraine in the fastest time.

"We are confident that Ukraine will have enough measles vaccine, despite the increased demand caused by the outbreak," said Laura Bill.

It is noted that the drug will come in three stages: 220,000 doses will "enter" at the end of February, after which the fund will provide 800 more doses of vaccines at the end of March. The third part will be 77 thousand doses of the drug.

In addition, in the second half of 2018, the organization will supply another 900,000 doses of CCP vaccines.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform", in Lviv, 198 people were ill with measles. Among the sick - 150 children.
