In Ukraine, from the next year, when calculating pensions, they will take into account the average salary in the country for three years (now for two), due to which the size of the salary base will significantly decrease.

Taking into account the decrease in the "cost" of one year of experience, on average, pensions will be reduced by 25% compared to 2017, writes Realist.

According to journalists, this year in Ukraine there are special rules for calculating pensions. Instead of three years, they take the average salary for the country in the last two years.

At the moment it is more than 5 thousand. UAH. After this sum is multiplied by length of service, 1% and by the ratio of own earnings to the average.

Accordingly, even with a salary of more than 7 thousand. UAH you can get a pension of about 1,800. UAH.

Next year, the conditions for retirement will change, experts say..

So, instead of the average salary for the last two years will take into account the average salary for the country for three years.

Earlier, the Minister of Social Policy Andrei Reva disclosed the main nuances of pension reform in Ukraine and made an optimistic forecast.
