The second time in the Urals capital will celebrate the Pancake Week. Culinary specialists will bake more than 500 pancakes so that the city's residents can compete with each other in a short meal of this dish. The event will be held on February 17 in the SEC "Carnival".

"We will offer the participants of the championship to eat for a short time a serving of 10 pancakes. For finalists, the number will increase to 15 pieces. According to experience, some of the competitors simply eat pancakes for their own pleasure, not in a hurry. It's not so bad. Still, the modern Maslenitsa is more a gastronomic holiday, when you need to treat yourself to something delicious, "- noted the organizers.

That the process of eating was safe and most enjoyable, for Yekaterinburg will also prepare water and various fillings - jam, condensed milk. Register for participation in the tournament will be on the day of the event. The first thirty people who left their names on the lists will get the right to taste pancakes and compete for prizes.

Guests of the holiday will also be able to take a picture at the Shrovetide photo zone and see how the confectioners prepare a pancake cake.

"We will weigh over 25 kilograms of cake, we will cover it with whipped cream, and for the basis we will take the freshest tasty pancakes," the bakers. "There will be enough food for everyone".
