Officials caught on a bribe. As reported by the press service of the SBU in the Lviv region on Thursday, February 1, one of the leaders of the unit together with a subordinate extorted from a private entrepreneur 15 thousand hryvnia. For this money, they promised to write off the debt for electricity consumed in excess of the established limit. The amount of debt was 30 thousand hryvnia.
Siloviki detained officials in their office after receiving bribes.
A criminal case is opened against them on the grounds of the crime provided for in the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine Obtaining undue benefits.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in the Kiev region on Wednesday, January 31, police detained the head of the legal department of one of the regional state administrations. The official demanded a bribe from the citizen in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars.
