The State Emergency Management Service warns about the rise of water levels in the rivers of the Pripyat Basin

This was reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies.

Further destruction of the ice cover is also expected with possible sharp fluctuations in water levels.

"According to Ukrgidromettsentr, on February 1-4 on the rivers of the Pripyat basin, the water level rises by 0.1-0.5 m above the levels for 8 hours," the message says..



Ksti, on January 31, in connection with the thaw, water levels are expected to rise above the current levels on the rivers of the Syan, Dniester (Lviv, Ivano-Frankovsk,. ) by 0.2-0.8 m; on the rivers of the Western Bug River basin by 0.1-0.5 m.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform, February 1 in Ukraine will once again warm up. Cold air will retreat to the east, while warmer air will begin to move from Europe. Precipitation forecasters do not predict, only in the afternoon in the extreme west there will be a little rain.
