Ensuring continued compliance with the ceasefire was also the main topic of the videoconference of the sub-working group on security, which took place on 29 January. This was stated by the special representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Tripartite Contact Group, Ambassador Martin Saydik.

According to him, the need for issuing and observing the relevant orders, including the need for disciplinary measures for violating the ceasefire regime, was stressed once again.

At the same time, the ambassador noted that the subgroup members also discussed issues related to the cultivation of forces and weapons, the removal of heavy weapons and mine clearance.
