Released from captivity in the occupied territories, Igor Yakovenko told in an interview with 112 Ukraine that the militants were being beaten during interrogation, threatened to cut off his head and take him to the minefield.

"Torture. They were shocked, psychological pressure was. Up to the point that "I'll shoot you and your legs and hands," and "we'll take out a minefield on the field, survive, you will not survive," Yakovenko confessed.

He spoke about the threats of brutal murder.

"I was asked before the fact: either you are now telling us something, or we will now cut off the head. I sat down and I think:

here either the pan, or disappeared, the head was already full of porridge. Over time, this person came again, says: "Is there anything to say?", I say: "No". He then says: "Keep this guy, now there will be a lot of blood". There was a lot of hysteria on his part. He says: "Come on, buddy, goodbye to life", yell began. I say: "Everything, everything, we will invent something". I took everything on myself, "- said Igor Yakovenko.

He confirmed that he stammered after being interrogated using a current.
