Protesters demand that the government report on its activities in the fight against drug trafficking, which has long been a negative phenomenon in Albania. People are unhappy with the policies of the incumbent prime minister and accuse his ministers of corruption and insufficient opposition to organized crime in the country and the "shadow market" of the economy.

Rama turned Albania into an homeland of organized crime and drugs that spread throughout Europe.

It later emerged that more than 10,000 people had marched to the demonstration, but earlier democratic forces promised to take 300,000 citizens to the streets. The action was peaceful under full control of law enforcement officers in the number of 1.5 people.

As reported in the "URA-Inform", recently in Romania there were mass protests against corruption.
