According to him, there is a specific "hole" in the staff of the national police. Journalists asked about the exact number of policemen in the country. Knyazev called the figure of 126 thousand full-time positions with an incomplete set of 17 thousand people. In fact, only 109 thousand policemen work. He denied the information that the Ministry of Internal Affairs was planning a large-scale expansion of rotational personnel, calling the figure of 300 thousand employees.

Such staff shortages are not only the result of a subjective decision of a person to choose a dangerous profession, but indeed in places the underrepresentation of young policemen who often leave the ranks of the Police.

In addition, in Ukraine this year they plan to complete the KORD equipment. Also, the police are planning this year for 700 people precinct.
