The lieutenant colonel, who served for more than 20 years in the Supreme Armed Forces, was given honors by soldiers of the Lozovsky military unit A3010, the press service of the Kharkov Regional State Administration.

43-year-old Vyacheslav Shishakov was killed on January 20 during a terrorist attack on the Intercontinental hotel in the capital of Afghanistan.

The pilot of the private airline "Ukrainian Wings" worked on the flights of the Afghan company Kam Air. After graduation from the Kiev Suvorov Military School (now - the Kiev military lyceum named after Ivan Bohun) since 1991, Vyacheslav Shishakov served in the APU.

In 1995 he graduated from the Kharkov Institute of Air Force Pilots. From the APU left in 2012 in the rank of lieutenant-colonel (last post - deputy commander of the 14th aviation corps for navigational training). Work in Afghanistan was for him the first foreign contract.

Head HOGA Yulia Svetlichnaya instructed the head of the Lozovskaya Regional State Administration to take under personal control the issue of rendering the necessary assistance to the relatives of the deceased.
