The policy of Turkey supported by WHO Cheap electronic cigarette has become an excellent reason to switch to steam for many smokers. Today it's cheaper to smoke than to smoke, although some manage to spend 2000-3000 UAH per month on wapping (most often buying expensive liquids). And while in Ukraine there is no ban on the use of WAP products and there are no problems with the purchase of goods, in Turkey the ban already exists. And such a policy is actively supported by the World Health Organization.

Today in Turkey it is illegal to smoke and smoke in public places. Therefore, you can take an electronic cigarette with you to rest, but you will have to fly in specially designated places.

In Turkey, about 28% of people use cigarettes daily, which is 2 times more than in the US or the UK, where electronic cigarettes are more available. Experts point out that such statistics indicate that smokers in Turkey are more because there is no wake-up propaganda that has long been in the US and UK.

WHO has long been opposed to the use of steam and as early as 2014 published a report on the harm of electronic steam. In particular, it was noted that:.

In November 2017, WHO published a press release in which it positively notes the authoritarian policy of Turkey, although even recently the government planned to weaken the laws on the veiling, but apparently succumbed to the pressure of WHO.

The tendency of the veiling in Turkey The tendency of the veiling, also referred to as the "New Strategy" according to WHO, is not an effective method of fighting against smoking, which is more propagating the purchase of wap products than protecting the health of smokers.

Professor Hacettepe University, Hilal Odzebe, argues that electronic cigarettes are as dangerous as conventional tobacco. The professor added that the universal stated fact that steam is safer than smoke is false and has no evidence base.

As an argument, she argues that electronic cigarettes also contain nicotine (again referring to a previously published WHO report) and can cause vascular disorders and cardiovascular diseases.

The representative of the Turkish Society of the Green Crescent Society (a non-profit organization that exists to combat smoking, drinking alcohol and other addictions) said that Turkey takes radical decisions to implement the WHO Convention on Tobacco Control and the main purpose of this is to raise awareness among the population.

The first results on tobacco control give the following figures: in Turkey, more than 43% of men smoke and 18.2% of women smoke. Among them, 16.

8% smoke 13-15 year olds, the rest of the number of smokers are guests of the country. WHO argues that the tobacco companies in Turkey are recently calling for the production and sale of low-nicotine products, which significantly reduces the likelihood of cardiovascular disease.

The further tendency of veiling and smoking in Turkey remains unknown. If the authorities are already talking about how to weaken the policy, perhaps this will happen, but at the moment the policy is coordinated with WHO and without compromise.
