Residents of the village of Bliznyuki (Kharkiv region) express their gratitude to Verkhovna Rada deputy of the People's Front faction Irina Efremova for resolving the issue of safe passage through railways.

As reported by the "Main" with reference to the page of the Kharkov "People's Front" in Facebook, in December local residents appealed to the parliamentarian about the fact that the pedestrian walkway, which is constantly used by people, was recently forced by freight trains.

This was an extremely topical problem, because the village is on both sides of the railway tracks. That is, children to get to school or kindergarten, or pensioners who need to visit a doctor, had to climb through the wagons.

In turn, Irina Efremova appealed to the heads of the relevant subdivisions of "Ukrzaliznytsia" with a demand to provide a safe transition for local residents.

In response, which came to the people's deputy from the regional branch of the Donetsk railway, it is noted that with the head of the station Blizniuky, dispatching personnel was carried out work concerning the passage of freight trains through the station without stopping and closing the railway crossings through the tracks.

At the same time, it is noted that in order to ensure the technological process in certain cases, it is impossible to avoid crossing transitions through paths.

As the head of Bliznyukovsky's Popular Front Nina Klimenko reported, a few days before the New Year the situation changed dramatically - the freight trains ceased to overlap the transitions. According to her, people are very grateful to Irina Efremova for the fact that they, at last, should not demonstrate gymnastic dexterity to cross the railway tracks, and can safely move around the village.
