Its purpose is to turn military items from the ATU zone into art objects with national symbols.

January 18 at 16:00 in the KU "Regional Organizational and Methodological Center of Culture and Art" (ul. Pushkinskaya, 62) will take place the solemn opening ceremony of the All-Ukrainian artistic and cultural project "Military Field Art". The exhibition will cover the events of the ATU zone through the prism of the art of Ukrainian artists. Among the masters there are participants of the ATU who are in the service directly in the zone of military operations. The essence of the project is to impose manifestations of Ukrainian folk art on items that have a purely military origin - ammunition, equipment and facilities brought from the ATU zone.

More than 200 exhibits are presented at the exhibition: boxes from ammunition, grenade launchers, cartridges, technical equipment, battalion flags, photos of fighters from the front - all this was brought from the ATU zone, and masters from all over Ukraine turned into unique works of art. For example, a grenade launcher painted with bright colors, or a protective helmet of a fighter with Ukrainian ornament. Boxes, which until recently was a deadly cargo, decorated with Ukrainian folk carvings, others - painted with flowers, geometric ornaments that resemble a Ukrainian towel, someone painted on such a box a portrait of a girl.

Within the framework of the exhibition a variety of master classes will be held.

The exhibition will last until February 8, 2018. Free admission.

reference. Work on the project "Military Field Art" began in 2014. Worked at the exhibition more than 100 masters of folk decorative and applied art from different regions of Ukraine. The first such exhibition was held in the center of culture and arts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in 2015. Prior to the Kharkov region it was demonstrated already 28 times in other cities of Ukraine.
