According to Shutov, he flew to Chisinau to conduct training for journalists at the invitation of the US Embassy in Moldova. However, for reasons unknown to him, on passport control he was taken to the office for an interview.
"Talking for about 15 minutes, in detail, take a picture of the program, I wait 4 hours and receive a refusal with the pretext that I did not substantiate the purpose of the visit," he wrote.
In turn, the representative of the press service of the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova stated that the Ukrainian journalist did not observe the conditions for crossing the state border.
So, from the very beginning of the conversation with the employees of the Border Police, he did not name the true purpose of his visit to the Republic of Moldova, although later he tried to justify his visit by presenting a set of documents.

Their media activity is aimed at discrediting the country. In their information exhaustion there is no coherent point of view of the Ukrainian side.
