According to him, for the development and creation of a stable civil society in Ukraine, it is necessary to allow the media to criticize and point out to the authorities their mistakes. In addition, it is necessary to create strong non-state enterprises, strong associations and trade unions in the country.

Mingarelli noted that control over the media around the world has only recently increased and the EU understands this, but it is important to do everything possible to stop hindering the work of independent media channels.

This includes news channels and radio stations. This is especially important for Ukraine, which is constantly exposed to information attacks from Moscow.

"We are trying to achieve such a situation in Ukraine," sums up the European official.

As reported in the "URA-Inform", the head of the European Union in Ukraine, Hug Mingarelli, argues that the Ukrainian government should not restrict the activities of the NABU.
