Such data on Monday, January 15, published on its website the State Statistical Service. According to the agency, last month the official unemployment rate in Ukraine increased by 0.2 percentage points to 1.4%.
Thus, as of January 1, 2018, the State Statistics Service registered 354,400 unemployed.
At the same time as of December 1, 2017, 309,000 unemployed persons were registered with the State Employment Service. The number of vacancies in December was 50.4 thousand and then 70 people applied for ten vacancies.
At the same time, in comparison with January 2017 the number of unemployed in Ukraine decreased. A year ago, 429,000 unemployed were officially registered.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in December, the level of the maximum assistance for unemployment rose to 7048 hryvnia. However, the average size of the allowance per unemployed is 2,331 UAH.
