On Sunday, January 14, it was checked for welding quality. This was announced by the head of Donetsk regional military-civil administration Pavel Zhebrivsky.

According to him, today at about ten o'clock in the morning he visited the construction of a gas pipeline. Yesterday we completed the welding of joints and laying pipes.

The gas pipeline is ready completely, "the head of the administration explained, adding that the gas pipeline will be pumped in stages - up to 7.5 atmospheres, which will take a day. Then the pipe will be checked by specialists of technical supervision and gostruda. It should hold the pressure for three hours, after that the pressure will drop to six atmospheres and will be fixed again, inspected and sealed.

After that it will be possible to completely fill the pipe. Next, we inject gas and start connecting houses, - said the head of the Donetsk AOGA.

At the same time, Zhebrivsky assured that he had already instructed to draw up all necessary documentation in parallel, "so as not to delay the process".

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in June 2017 near Avdeevka Donetsk region as a result of enemy attacks, the pipeline was damaged. As a result, about 22 thousand people remained without gas supply.
