It is reported that there are gaps in the absence of ambassadors in the following areas:.

- since 2009 Ukraine has no ambassador in Ethiopia.

- since August 2013 the post of ambassador in Kazakhstan is vacant;.

- since April 2014, the Ambassador of Ukraine in Switzerland has not been appointed;.

- since May of the same year - in Denmark and Montenegro;.

- since June - in Cuba, and since July - in Algeria;.

- since August 2015, there are no postages in Ireland and Armenia.

The problem in the appointment of ambassadors remains the procedure itself, under which the President of Ukraine personally signs a decree appointing an ambassador on the proposal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. It also requires a response from the host country's ambassador.

As reported in the "URA-Inform", Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin plans to hold talks with the new head of the Foreign Ministry of Poland, Jacek Chaputovich.
