It should be noted that during the exercise, the military should work out military interactions in accordance with NATO standards and increase the level of compatibility.

Participation in the training took the Ukrainian helicopters Ka-27PCH and Ka-27pr, who carried out more than ten landings aboard the American ship in difficult weather conditions. The pilots of the Ukrainian Navy also carried out reconnaissance and surveillance of the surface situation.

"Each such opportunity is a good opportunity for obtaining additional knowledge and improving the skills of interaction with our foreign colleagues in accordance with modern standards," said temporarily acting Deputy Commander of the Naval Forces of Ukraine for Combat Training Captain 2 rank Andrey Kurylenko.

As reported earlier by URA-Inform, the chairman of the Military Committee of NATO, General Peter Pavel, believes that the joint Russian-Belarusian exercise "West-2017" is a trial scenario of preparations for a full-fledged war.
