Judicial and other procedures in Moldova will end in January-February. This was announced on Thursday, January 11, by the deputy head of SAP Vladimir Kryvenko.

He also recalled that Chaus appealed the refusal of the President of Moldova to grant him political asylum.

Recall, the president of Moldova, Igor Dodon, reviewed the request of Chaus for political asylum and refused to grant him.

As reported URA-Inform, on March 1, the Moldovan side officially informed Ukrainian colleagues about the detention of Chaus. A little later, Viorel Morar said that the Ukrainian judge, who suspected bribery and illegal crossing of the border, surrendered to the Moldovan authorities himself.
