Channels will be checked due to the broadcast of broadcasts with the participation of persons from the sanctions list. As stated in the resolution, the decision was taken unanimously on the results of monitoring, recorded on the air of the channels, which broadcast programs with the participation of persons brought by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine in the list of persons who threaten the national security of Ukraine.

In particular, on the airs of television channels programs were recorded with the participation of the Soviet actor and theater and film director Oleg Tabakov, as well as the Soviet and Russian theater and film actress, People's Artist of the RSFSR Valentina Talizina.

In this connection, the regulator has decided to study in detail the issues of broadcasting transmissions bearing signs that are not allowed to broadcast on the territory of Ukraine and will take appropriate decisions on the results of unscheduled inspections.

In addition, the National Council decided to schedule an unscheduled inspection of the TRC "Russian Radio Ukraine" on the basis of monitoring, which recorded on the air of the radio company insufficient volumes of transmission in the state language.

Recall, as URA-Inform jointly, the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting in August imposed sanctions on media holding Inter Media Group. Such measures to the channel were applied due to non-observance of the language quotas.
