It is reported that the total number of Orthodox believers who intend to attend church events can reach five million people. More than 14 thousand churches will be used at the meeting of Jesus Christ on the night of January 7. The most mass events will be held in Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions. These regions are considered the most conservative and believers. The whole event will be held under the protection of law enforcement agencies.

In Kiev, near the Cathedral of Vladimir and the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, parishioners have already begun to gather. Divine services will be held all night until six in the morning.

As reported in the "URA-Inform", security for Christmas will protect 18 thousand law enforcement officers.
