The court intends to raise the issue of disciplinary liability of Yanukovych's lawyers

The court raised the issue of disciplinary liability of the lawyers of the association "Aver Lex" Vitaly Serdyuk, Igor Fedorenko and Andriana Fozekosh in connection with their violation of the oath of the lawyer of Ukraine, the rules of legal ethics and improper performance of their professional duties.

The corresponding decision was made at a meeting on December 20, 2017, but published on January 3. At the same time, the Department of Special Investigations of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine.

In it, in particular, it is said that the lawyers and the association "Aver Lex" "systematically take measures aimed at delaying the consideration of the petition".

Recall, December 20, 2017 lawyers Yanukovych once again did not arrive at the meeting, and the prosecutor initiated the issue of bringing them to disciplinary responsibility. On the same day, it was decided to replace the free defender with another. The court then appointed meetings on 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29 December.



At the same time, the next appointed free lawyer also did not attend the meetings on December 27 and 28. In this regard, the court granted the prosecutor's petition for the removal of this defender and instructed the legal aid center to appoint a new.

As reported URA-Inform, Obolonsky District Court of Kiev on Thursday, December 28, postponed the meeting on the case of high treason of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych on January 10, 2018.
