Head coach of the national football team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko told about the possible rivals of the national team in the first control matches in 2018.

As reported by Team # 1, in the coming year the coach wants to play as many friendly matches as possible. Most likely, there will be two such games at the beginning of the year, three more - at the end of the season.

"Everything goes to the fact that we will start the year with matches with Japan and Saudi Arabia.

As far as I know, the contract with the Japanese is already in FFU, and the second contract should be sent at the very beginning of the year, "said Shevchenko.

Most likely, these matches will be played in Europe. Shevchenko is pleased with this choice of rivals.

"As a coach, the selection of opponents suits me, because both teams became participants in the World Cup," - added the expert.

Previously, Shevchenko said that he offered Brazil coach Titus to spar with the teams in May 2018 in Ukraine.
