As the first deputy chairman of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Sergey Bilan informed, the information was received from the British law enforcement agencies. They said that one of the ports in the Odessa region was to receive a container with a batch of illegal cigarettes with signs of forgery.

When the container came, the police searched it and found 1795 boxes, and this is 897 500 packs of cigarettes without excise duty stamps, with inscriptions on the packages For Duty Free Sale Only. Their approximate cost is 15 million hryvnia, - explained Bilan, adding that the whole lot of the cigarette was seized.

At the same time, the department calculated that if the party entered the "black" market of Great Britain, the actual non-occurrence of the excise tax would be 4.8 million pounds sterling or in the recalculation of almost 170 million hryvnia.
