Negotiations and consultations on this issue continued almost from the beginning of the war. This was announced on Wednesday, December 27, by the representative of Ukraine in the contact group Leonid Kuchma.
As her spokesperson Darka Olifer said on her Facebook page, Kuchma explained how difficult and exhausting the process was, how much effort was spent to get people back to their relatives and friends.
Now we see that everything was not in vain and it inspires us to continue our work, - said Kuchma.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, on Wednesday, December 27, Ukraine was transferred to the exchange of prisoners 74 hostages. The exchange process was completed. The Ukrainian side received hostages who were in captivity in the occupied part of Donbass. They return home, - said People's Deputy of Ukraine Irina Lutsenko.
